U16 MATCH REVIEWS:
10th January 2008, Fulledge Colts 0 - 4 Colne FC
Fulledge started off brightly having a few chances and against the run of play colne scored first. Later Colne scored a fluke. In the second half, Fulledge made scoring opportunities but pushed too far forwards leaving the midfield open. Colne scored two more goals in the second half because Fulledge could have needed another midfield to strenghten the middle of the pitch. Both new lads, Matt Heap and Robert Mackie played well.
3rd February 2008, Fulledge Colts 2 - 0 Brierfield Celtic
Fulledge got off to a reasonably decent start creating chances and defending well. It wasn't long before the first goal was scored for Fulledge. An own goal by Brierfield from a corner kick gave Fulledge the lead. A few minutes later exactly the same thing happened giving Fulledge a comfortable 2-0 lead. As the second half began Fulledge kept up the good effort and Tom Allen was unlucky to score a few chances. In the last few minutes of the second half, Fulledge were cought out and Brierfield had a chance to score but missed. The final score was 2-0 to Fulledge!
13th January 2008, Fulledge Colts 0 - 3 Cliviger Colts
Although the weather was cold, the venue was at Townley, and against a strong side in the league, Fulledge played reasonably good throughout the game but unluckily made silly mistakes. Without the mistakes the game could have been alot closer. Cliviger scored all 3 goals in the first half and in the second half Fulledge had quite a few chances. Andy had 2 clear shots but they was off target. The final score was 3-0 to Cliviger.
